Where events come from#

Your Mac's calendars, through macOS (needs the Calendars permission). A Google account added in System Settings → Internet Accounts with Calendars on shows up automatically.
Google Calendar through your Xeneric account: Dashboard → You → Connect Google Calendar opens your browser to sign in with Google. If you disconnect it, or turn on Offline mode, Xeneric uses the Mac's calendars again.

Event reminders#

Event reminders (Dashboard → General) puts a heads-up in the notch before each event: 1, 5, 10 (default), 15 or 30 minutes before. Turn on Also show in Notification Center to keep them in the system list too.

Ask about your schedule#

Ask “what's on tomorrow?” in the Xeneric bar or out loud and get a real answer. Your day also drops out of the notch when Xeneric starts (Notch → Your day).
