Where settings are stored#
Settings are saved as JSON in ~/Library/Application Support/com.techsolace.xeneric/settings.json, next to Xeneric's local database. Dashboard → Data → Data folder → Show in Finder opens it. Personal fields (your name, about you, writing style, account email) are encrypted in that file; API keys and MCP secrets are in the Keychain, never in it.
