Draw

Open Draw#

Press ⌥⇧D, or pick Draw in the left-edge rail or the menu-bar eye's menu. Draw puts a sheet of glass over everything on screen, with your pens in a panel you can drag (double-click it to dock). Made for calls, demos and screen recordings.

Pens and tools#

• Pen P, highlighter H, marker M, arrow A and rectangle R.
• Six colours, and three sizes: thin 1, medium 2, thick 3.

Fading ink#

Press F (or the Fading ink button) and new strokes fade out on their own a few seconds after you lift the pen, so there's nothing to clear mid-call. It's off by default, and Xeneric remembers your choice.

Undo, erase and clear#

• The eraser E removes whole strokes.
• Undo ⌘Z, redo ⇧⌘Z.
• Clear all C wipes the screen and keeps the pens out.
• Esc (Done) closes Draw and clears the ink.
